  • Selected units, such as Grainger CPS1LAC1GR, come with acorn nuts to provide a protective cover to internal threads / bolt ends from contaminants and wing nuts (also known as thumb nuts). This allows a secure grip for manual tightening and loosening. These units also include jam nuts (or half-nuts) for tightening or jamming against the primary nut.
  • The locknuts resist loosening under torque and vibration.
  • The washers are used with a screw fastener (such as a bolt & nut) to prevent the screw from loosening or to distribute the weight from the nut / bolt head over a large area.
  • These units are available in imperial & metric variants and in packs containing up to 1255 pieces.
